Help Josefa keep her home - 2 months behind on rent
A final eviction notice arrived last week. Josefa needs $900 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Buenos Aires.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, Josefa fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $900.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Josefa has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
