Help Jose save Buddy - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Buddy needs emergency surgery - a $1,650 bill the family can't cover.
🇨🇦 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada1,183 views
Buddy is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 14 August we rushed to Hamilton Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,650.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Hamilton Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Buddy's recovery.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320
• Emergency surgery: $1,000
• Medication and follow-up visits: $330
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
