Córdoba
For twelve years I have run a laundry service in Córdoba. In August, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $500 goes: • Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $210 • Working capital for the first month: $165 • Shop repairs and licensing: $125 If you're reading this, thank you. - José

Updates from José

  1. Update from Córdoba: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 10% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 15% now ($75). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Wanted to say thank you properly. 44% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. - José
