Help Jonathan keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Jonathan runs a volunteer pantry feeding 254 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 254 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 42% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Los Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $790
• Refrigeration and electricity: $310
• Baby formula and diapers: $200
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you, Jonathan. More neighborhoods should do this. Please keep us posted. Take care
