Help Jolanda replace the transmission and return to work
Jolanda's my pickup is Jolanda's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,400.
🇳🇱 Netherlands492 views
I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $910
• Labor charges: $320
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $125
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.
