Help John replace the fuel pump and return to work
John's my tuk-tuk is John's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $1,600.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $960
• Labor charges: $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $300
• Towing and inspection: $165
