Help John Paul keep his home - 3 months behind on rent
After a cut in working hours, John Paul is 3 months behind on rent and has a notice to vacate from the landlord.

When the hotel closed in February, John Paul fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $250.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
John Paul has started working extra hours at a market stall, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $250 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $50
• First month of rent as a buffer: $155
• Utilities in arrears: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Carlo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Anaheim
this could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from San Diego.
Hope it all works out, Carlo. Shared it with a few friends. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Love from Cox's Bazar.
Sending love, Carlo. Shared this with my family.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Quezon City.
