Jocelyn is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jocelyn was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at the San Diego Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Jocelyn is 55, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Diego Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,000
• Transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute: $700
