Help Joaquín start the school year with the right tools

Joaquín earned a place in Form 4 at Los Angeles Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $500, which is more than they have. Joaquín loves chemistry and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $500 goes: • Laptop: $320 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50 • Textbooks and workbooks: $130 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
