Joaquim earned a place in Year 10 at Recife Boys' High School; we're $300 short on required supplies.

Joaquim earned a place in Year 10 at Recife Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $300, which is more than they have.
Joaquim loves coding and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $125
• School uniform and shoes: $80
• Textbooks and workbooks: $50
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $45

Hope it all works out, Luiz. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Hope it all works out, Luiz. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 19 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
