Help Jin-ah replace the engine head gasket and return to work
Jin-ah's my taxi is Jin-ah's only source of income and needs an engine head gasket replacement costing $750.

I make my living with my taxi. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $750 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $330
• Labor charges: $290
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $85
• Towing and inspection: $45
Glad we found this place.

Thanks for sharing this, Jin-ah. Your post was clear and honest.
Take care. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts. Small businesses are the heart of Seoul. Hope you're open again soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
hope it all works out, Jin-ah. Hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours.
Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Seoul.
