Help Jigna get through 5 hard months with twin daughters
Jigna and twin daughters need a bridge to stability after a long illness.
🇮🇳 Uttar Pradesh, India1,297 views
Since a long illness in June, I'm now raising twin daughters on my own. I work as a cleaner, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as an electrician in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $450 goes:
• Childcare and after-school care: $180
• Course fees and exam costs: $95
• Rent top-up: $175
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope things get better soon. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Kanpur
how is Jigna doing now?
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jigna.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. childcare and after-school care is the biggest at $180. Appreciate you taking the time.
Shared this with my family. Love from Accra.
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Amsterdam
Hope things get better soon, Jigna. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Kanpur.
Wishing you the best, Jigna. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
