Help Jennifer start the school year with the right tools
Jennifer won a place at Bakersfield Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Bakersfield Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $750, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $750 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $175
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $45
• Laptop: $530
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you, Jennifer. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes!
Sending love, Jennifer. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Thinking of Bakersfield.
Good luck, Jennifer. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Multan.
