Jennifer was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in August. The surgeon at Manchester Community Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,750, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $4,050 short.
my wife has been in and out of Manchester Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jennifer struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Jennifer won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
