Oscar is my senior cat of three years. On 27 July we rushed to Veracruz Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $700. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar got me through my hardest year. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Veracruz Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $700 goes: • Emergency surgery: $310 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $240 • Medication and follow-up visits: $60 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90 Every share and every dollar helps.
