Help Jasmine keep her home - 3 months behind on rent
The loss of a second income left Jasmine short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in November, Jasmine fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $650.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, the family must leave.
There are a toddler and a baby at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Jasmine has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $500
• Utilities in arrears: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $105
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

you're not alone. This could happen to any of us. After 6 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Praying for you, Maricel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Rohini.
Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Manila.
Praying for you, Maricel. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. God bless
Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
