Jade is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Tampa Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,500. The registrar has said Jade can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jade has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jade would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jade isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Tampa Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,150 • Textbooks and materials: $240 • Exam and lab fees: $110 Thanks for reading all this. - Gabriel
