Help Jacques replace the gearbox and return to work
Jacques's my food truck is Jacques's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $1,250.

I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $670
• Labor charges: $260
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $240
• Towing and inspection: $80
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of Bordeaux
Hang in there, Jacques. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 32 people at work. Take care.

Good luck, Jacques. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Bordeaux
Stay strong, Jacques. Small businesses are the heart of Bordeaux. Hope you're open again soon. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
