Help Jacob get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
After eight years of service, Jacob is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served eight years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,750 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,900
• Housing deposit and first month: $870
• Transport to appointments: $350
• Essential household items: $630
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
