Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 248 each week. Donations have dropped by about 34% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Antonio market and keep every receipt. Each $55 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $1,300 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $780 • Baby formula and diapers: $310 • Refrigeration and electricity: $210 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
