Help Jabu save Tucker - surgery needed
A cat named Tucker needs emergency surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.
🇿🇦 South Africa1,206 views
Tucker is my cat of nine years. On 7 July we rushed to Soweto Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Soweto Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Tucker's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $290
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $80
• Medication and follow-up visits: $70
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this, Jabu. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Sent it to 32 people at work. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Jabu. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Soweto.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Jabu?
Take care, Jabu. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up. Take care.
Best of luck, Jabu. Hope this works out for you. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Stay strong, Jabu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings.
