Help Iwan keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Malang.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 15 families, and now we feed 197 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 39% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Malang market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $220
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
