Help Ivy replace the transmission and return to work
Ivy's my pickup is Ivy's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $2,000.

I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,450
• Labor charges: $300
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $140
• Towing and inspection: $110
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
