Itzhak was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March. The surgeon at Tel Aviv General Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,900, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $3,900 short.
my son has been in and out of Tel Aviv General Hospital since March. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Itzhak struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Itzhak won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
