Ittipol was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Ittipol is 27, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
