İsmail was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in February. The oncology team at Ankara Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. İsmail is 41, worked as a taxi driver until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ankara Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,050 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $550 • Transport to Ankara Cancer Centre: $150 • Scans and lab work: $145 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $205 Glad we found this place. - Kaan
