Help Ishita restart a neighborhood bakery in Coimbatore after a break-in
A neighborhood bakery in Coimbatore needs help replacing a commercial oven after a break-in.
🇮🇳 India544 views
For six years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Coimbatore. In June, a break-in took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $90
• Replacing a commercial oven: $140
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $70
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending good thoughts, Ishita. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Mumbai.
