Help Isabella keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
Isabella runs a volunteer pantry feeding 82 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 82 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Chicago market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $610
• Baby formula and diapers: $260
• Refrigeration and electricity: $280
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Take care.
rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Siliguri!
Sending good thoughts, Isabella. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
