Help Isaac pay for knee replacement surgery at Los Angeles General Hospital
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in December is out of reach without help covering $6,900 of the cost.

Isaac was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in October. The surgeon at Los Angeles General Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $11,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $6,900 short.
my son has been in and out of Los Angeles General Hospital since October. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $11,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Isaac struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Isaac won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $6,900 goes:
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $2,300
• Travel and lodging for the family: $430
• Post-operative medication: $480
• Physiotherapy sessions: $640
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,050
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Hadley. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together.
wishing Isaac a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 14 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
