After the loss of my brother, Isaac has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at the Ikeja Counselling Collective cost $10 each. Isaac has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Isaac could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Isaac, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record. Where the $200 goes: • 16 therapy sessions: $140 • Psychiatric assessment: $40 • Workbook and resources: $20 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

  • Hang in there, Bolaji. Your post was clear and honest. I hope July is when things finally get easier.

    • Wishing you peace, Bolaji. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 21 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

      • hang in there, Bolaji. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Novosibirsk.
