The gas account is 3 months behind. Irma received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Irma called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Irma is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
