Help Imelda keep her home - 3 months behind on rent
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Imelda needs $2,750 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Orlando.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, Imelda fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,750.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Imelda has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.

• Utilities in arrears: $120
• First month of rent as a buffer: $660
