Help Imad keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked
Imad runs a volunteer pantry feeding 89 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 89 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Saint-Étienne market and keep every receipt.
Each $20 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $730
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $560
• Baby formula and diapers: $250
• Refrigeration and electricity: $210
