Help Imad keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Marseille.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of a community center. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 164 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Marseille market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $250
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $810
• Refrigeration and electricity: $140
Thank you for reading my story.
Updates from Imad
Quick update: $125 raised so far (10%). I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Thank you all. We're at 3% now ($30). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward refrigeration and electricity.
