Help Igor restart a roadside café in Kyiv after a storm that collapsed the roof
Igor lost an espresso machine and grinder to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $1,000 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For nine years I have run a roadside café in Kyiv. In May, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $670
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $155
• Shop repairs and licensing: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Igor.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing an espresso machine and grinder comes first ($670) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings!
is there anything that isn't money that would help Igor?
Thank you. If you're in Kyiv I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Small businesses are the heart of Kyiv. Hope you're open again soon. All the best
Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from London.

Praying for you. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
stay strong, Igor. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Juiz de Fora
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
