Rocky is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 26 October we rushed to the Los Angeles Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,150. They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky got me through my hardest year. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Los Angeles Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,150 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $320 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $195 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $635 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
