Help Ifeoma through 6 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Ifeoma is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ifeoma was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May. The oncology team at the Lagos Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Ifeoma is 38, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Lagos Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $240
• Transport to the Lagos Oncology Institute: $85
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $25

It's all in the list in the story. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the big one at $1,300, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. I'll keep the page updated.
