Help Ibrahim pay for laparoscopic cyst removal at Saint Catherine Hospital
After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Ibrahim was cleared for laparoscopic cyst removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ibrahim was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in February. The surgeon at Saint Catherine Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,550, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,150 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Catherine Hospital since February. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,550 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ibrahim struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Ibrahim won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $440
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $440
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $70
• Post-operative medication: $45
• Physiotherapy sessions: $110
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

sending love, Nneka. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
