Help Hridoy keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Gazipur is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 206 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 59% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gazipur market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $130
• Baby formula and diapers: $30
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.

So sorry you're going through this, Hridoy. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Hang in there, Hridoy. Your post was clear and honest!
