Help Himari pay for a craniotomy at Kobe Community Hospital
After a benign brain tumor, Himari was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Himari was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Kobe Community Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,950 short.
my mother has been in and out of Kobe Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Himari struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Himari won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $4,950 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $2,100
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $1,500
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $450
• Post-operative medication: $260
• Physiotherapy sessions: $250
• Travel and lodging for the family: $390

Good luck, Daisuke. Wishing Himari a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Blessings.
gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Kobe.
