I make my living with my food truck. 12 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $100 goes: • Towing and inspection: $10 • Labor charges: $60 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $30 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Heru

Updates from Heru

  1. Thank you all. We're at 32% now ($32). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
