Help Hermann restart a roadside café in Kassel after a break-in
Hermann lost an espresso machine and grinder to a break-in and needs $2,150 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For three years I have run a roadside café in Kassel. In May, a break-in took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $540
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $540
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $1,070
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

good luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Sent it to 14 people at work. Thinking of Kassel.
Praying for you, Hermann. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
sending love, Hermann. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Obuasi this morning. Thinking of Kassel.
