Help Henry through 10 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
Supporting Henry through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Lagos Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria1,387 views
Henry was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Lagos Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Henry is 27, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lagos Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Household costs while unable to work: $110
• Transport to Lagos Cancer Centre: $100
If you're reading this, thank you.

Wishing you peace, Ifeoma. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Curitiba.
Hope it all works out, Ifeoma. Looking forward to the next update. God bless.
