Help Heike lay Patrick to rest with dignity in Berlin
After the sudden passing of Patrick, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Patrick, my brother, passed away on 23 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 23 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Patrick to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,500
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $920
• Transport of the deceased: $270
• Memorial gathering for the family: $360
