Hatem was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at the Medina Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Hatem is 29, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Medina Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
