Help Hannah replace the suspension and return to work
Hannah drives for a living in London, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,050
• Labor charges: $340
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• Towing and inspection: $50
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Bengaluru but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
your post was clear and honest. After 18 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
