Karl, my husband, passed away on 24 April after a sudden heart attack. He was 73 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 May. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Karl to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,900 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $300 • Funeral home services and casket: $1,850 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,750 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
