Badagry
I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $250 goes: • Labor charges: $50 • fuel pump replacement (parts): $165 • Towing and inspection: $35 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Halima

  1. Small update. $15 so far, I made the first payment toward fuel pump replacement.

  2. 2% there. the plan for fuel pump replacement is now scheduled. Thank you.
