Help Gunawan pay for palate reconstruction surgery at Jakarta Community Hospital
Gunawan needs palate reconstruction surgery at Jakarta Community Hospital and the family is $900 short of the hospital's estimate.

Gunawan was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Jakarta Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $900 short.
my father has been in and out of Jakarta Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gunawan struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Gunawan won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $900 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $60
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $330
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $440
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $45
• Post-operative medication: $25
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope things get better soon. Hope the doctors have good news. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
wishing you the best. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
