Milo is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 6 July we rushed to Paris Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,100. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Paris Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,100 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,550 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $200 • Medication and follow-up visits: $240 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110 Thank you so much.
